Junior Shannon Sakosits, an integrated marketing communications major at Ithaca College, has died from an illness, according to an announcement by the college Nov. 11.

It is clear that the center is understaffed and overbooked, resulting in a supply of resources that simply cannot meet the demand that our college presents.
The Hammond Health Center has begun receiving flu vaccinations, pictured above, for the flu season, which peaks between December and March. Last year, the number of students diagnosed with flu-like illness peaked at 238.

College begins preparation for upcoming flu season
