The first Friday of this semester, I was cussed out by a professional Terraces staff member for taking 14 English muffins from the bread box. I was told that “That s— costs money,” and to “Put that s— back.” I was terrified. I was shocked.

Five separate incidents of vandalism depicting swastikas have been reported on Ithaca College’s campus since January 2022.
President La Jerne Cornish said the symbol has been on the door since August 2021 and was not reported until Oct. 6.

UPDATE: Swastika reported on Kosher Kitchen storage room

The Ithaca College campus community was notified via email Oct. 7 that a swastika was scratched onto the door of a Kosher Kitchen storage room in the Terrace Dining Hall.
Ivy Walz served as the interim dean of the School of Music during the 2021–22 academic year. In 2020, Walz stepped into an administrative role as assistant dean after former dean Karl Paulnack stepped down at the end of the 2019–20 academic year.

Junior Talia Jean Weindling found the words “F--- Black people” in the gender-neutral bathroom on the third floor of Williams Hall on April 19.
