The Ithaca College volleyball team continued its dominance on Oct. 25 in Ben Light Gymnasium in a double-header against the William Smith College Herons and the William Paterson University Pioneers. The No. 10 Bombers added two victories to their 15-game win streak, increasing their overall record to 19-3. Game one against the Herons also kept the Bombers undefeated in their Liberty League match-ups.Â

The Ithaca College football team dropped its first Liberty League Championship matchup in heartbreaking fashion to the Union College Garnet Chargers 19-14 Oct. 25 at Butterfield Stadium. Tensions were high post-game, with the Garnet Chargers and Bombers jawing at midfield after the Garnet Chargers rushed to celebrate on the Bombers’ logo.Â
Field hockey head coach Kaitlyn Wahila gained her 100th win with the Bombers on Oct 17. Wahila has been coaching with Ithaca College for nine full seasons and in seven seasons, she has led the field hockey team to a winning record.
The Ithaca College volleyball team earned its fifth shutout of the season in a win against the Hartwick College Hawks on Oct. 7 in Ben Light Gymnasium, adding to a winning streak of eight games. Junior setter Wesley Slavin also recorded a milestone achievement of 2000 assists during the match.Â

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team is in the midst of a program revamp under new head coach Gabe Kuhn, who has brought success the team has not achieved in years. The key to the Bombers’ winning ways this season has been their defense. Led by senior goalkeeper Bryson Shaull, the Bombers’ back line conceded only one goal in their first seven games, collecting six clean sheets.

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team settled for a 1-1 draw against the Vassar College Brewers on Sept. 27 at Carp Wood Field. Although both of the game’s goals were scored in the first half, a second half filled with scoring chances on both sides of the field left the Bombers feeling they deserved a win over the reigning Liberty League Champions.

The No. 21 Ithaca College men’s soccer team secured the win over the Moravian University Greyhounds Sept. 20 with a final score of 1-0. Despite the high amount of scoring opportunities for each side, the only goal of the end-to-end game came via a Moravian defender scoring on his own net. The Bombers collected their sixth clean sheet of the year and are currently on pace to break the school’s single-season shutout record of 12, which was set in 2005.

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team edged out the King’s College Monarchs Sept. 13 in a heated 1-0 contest. The matchup saw five yellow cards and plenty of physicality from start to finish. The Bombers have now won five consecutive games to open their season, a feat that has not been achieved by the program since 2007.Â

The Ithaca College field hockey team played its rival, the Cortland Red Dragons Sept. 10. The Bombers hosted the Red Dragons, but ended up falling short 1-0. IC's record fell to 3-2 ahead of the Sept. 13 contest against the No. 17 SUNY Geneseo Knights.
After falling short of the postseason, two members of the Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team decided to take their talents across the world to Seogwipo, South Korea to celebrate their heritage and compete in the 2025 World Lacrosse Men’s U20 Championship.

The Ithaca College football team could not muster a revenge game as the No. 3 Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays defeated the Bombers for the third straight season, with a final score of 42-14 on Sept. 6 at Butterfield Stadium.Â
