IC ends required COVID-19 testing for unvaccinated people

Effective June 22, Ithaca College is ending its COVID-19 testing requirements for unvaccinated students and employees. 
In reaction to four reports of drug-laced drinks and one report of sexual assault at events hosted by Cornell University fraternities, Cornell has suspended all fraternity parties and social events. The Ithaca Police Department and the Cornell University Police Department are currently investigating both reports.  

Cornell University raises its COVID-19 alert level

Cornell University raised its COVID-19 alert level from green to yellow March 19. In the week of March 10 to 17, there were 74 positive cases at Cornell.
Ithaca College will not be making any changes to its mask guidelines for the remainder of the spring semester.

Two new cases of UK COVID variant identified

Both individuals are in isolation, and all close contacts are in quarantine. Both cases were identified following travel, according to the Tompkins County Health Department.

Cornell lowers COVID-19 alert level after cases decrease

Cornell University lowered its COVID-19 alert level Feb. 22 from yellow to green, meaning cases are rare and transmission is controlled.
