Men’s basketball ready for action despite injuries

After missing the playoffs in the 2023–24 campaign, the Ithaca College men’s basketball team looks to return to its winning ways with a mix of youth and upperclassmen leaders, as it battles through early season injuries. 
For the 2024–25 season, six teams — men’s cross-country, men’s track and field, volleyball, sculling, women's rowing and women’s tennis — will have a new head coach. Four different teams will have new assistant coaches.

Fresh coaching staff brings a new era

As the academic year kicks off, so does a new athletic season. For the 2024–25 season, six teams — men’s cross-country, men’s track and field, volleyball, sculling, women's rowing and women’s tennis — will have a new head coach. In addition, four teams — men’s basketball, men’s rowing, sculling and women’s rowing — will have new assistant coaches.
The Ithaca College women's basketball team has had 13 or more steals in five of their last seven games and in that time have compiled a 6-1 record behind fast and gritty defense.

Defense defines driven women’s basketball squad

The Ithaca College women’s basketball team is now holding a record of 13–3 and have been dominating Liberty League play. Through that run, the Bombers’ staunch defensive effort has been on full display. 
Luka Radovich, senior forward on the men's basketball team, spent two years at the Division I level with Fordham University before transferring to Ithaca College. He is currently averaging 16.3 points per game and 49.5% from the field.

Transfer makes an impact for men’s basketball team

After spending two seasons playing college basketball at the Division I level, Luka Radovich transferred from Fordham University to Ithaca College.
The college implemented its updated spectator policy Jan. 12, allowing only students, faculty and staff members to attend competitions until the situation is further evaluated Feb. 7.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, spectators outside of the Ithaca College community will not be allowed to attend athletic events until at least Feb. 7.

Student managers make an impact on men’s basketball team

Women’s basketball team adds former head coach to staff

Jim Mullins, longtime men’s basketball head coach, will make his return to the bench this winter, as a volunteer assistant coach on the staff of the women’s team.
