IC welcomes La Jerne Cornish as the college’s 10th president

At a March 6 reception, La Jerne Cornish was congratulated as Ithaca College's 10th president after a long search process.
The virtual open-conversation session was led by David Lissy ’87, chair of the board of trustees, and James Nolan ’77, vice chair of the board of trustees. About 55 people attended the event.

The Ithaca College Board of Trustees announced that it is beginning the search for the tenth president of the college.
The Board of Trustees of Ithaca College announced in October 2017 that 2 Fountain Place, the former presidential residence, was going to be put on the market.
