For seven Ithaca College athletics teams, their competitive seasons last only from mid-August to early November. In that time in 2025, new faces stepped into new roles, storylines evolved and Bombers victories occurred. The significant growth that junior Kyla Eisman demonstrated between her first year and sophomore seasons on the cross-country team was nothing short of remarkable.
On Sept. 2, the Ithaca College men's and women's cross country teams hosted their annual Jannette Bonrouhi-Zakaim Memorial Alumni Run, an event that has been running since the mid-1980's.

Although neither program qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championship as a team, the Ithaca College men’s and women’s cross-country teams both had representation in Lansing, Michigan.
As a precursor to its upcoming competition season, the team spent three days at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland, NY from Aug. 26 to 28, for a weekend retreat.
