The women’s basketball team dispelled any doubts or concerns it had at the outset of the 2011-12 season by posting a program record 24-win season, capturing the Empire 8 Conference Championship and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The women's basketball team (24—4) opened up NCAA Championship Tournament play in dominant fashion, as they defeated the Elms College Blazers (20—9) by a score of 84-37. The 47-point margin of victory was the largest in an NCAA playoff game in Ithaca history.

The women’s basketball team (23–4) grinded out a 43-38 victory against Hartwick College in yesterday’s Empire 8 Tournament Championship game in Ben Light Gymnasium. The Bombers' win earned them a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years.

The women’s basketball team (18–4 overall, 10–1 Empire 8) scored a pair of victories at Nazareth College and St. John Fisher College during the weekend to start its road trip off on the right foot.
The women’s basketball team (5—0) came through with some late-game heroics to defeat rival SUNY-Cortland (4—1) 85-77 in overtime tonight in Ben Light Gymnasium.
The women’s basketball team is opening its season with a challenging non-conference schedule to prepare itself for a late-season stretch run of Empire 8 Conference games.
