Senior Mac Chasin and Sophomore Josie Berman competed in the Maccabiah Games in Israel. Chasin won the gold medal with USA basketball while Berman won the silver medal in USA water polo.

Two athletes represent Team USA at the Maccabiah Games

Senior basketball player Marc Chasin and sophomore swimmer Josie Berman traveled to Tel Aviv, Israel to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games.
Freshman Maura Beuttel finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:05.10 at the Ithaca Invitational in the Athletic and Events Center Feb. 11. The Bombers compete next in the UNYSCSA Championships Feb. 15-18 in the Athletics and Events Center.

For the past three years, the Ithaca College women’s swimming and diving team has stood at the top of the podium at the state championship.
Sophomore Rachel Smertz races in the women's 100-yard backstroke Oct. 29 in the Athletics and Events Center. She placed fifth with a time of 1:04.31.

IC swimming and diving teams host first meet of season

The women’s team came out victorious, defeating RPI 180–120 while RPI defeated the men's team 201–93.
