New course introduces students to esports marketing

While many of the courses offered in Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications are traditional media courses, there is a new course that has made its debut in a much more niche subject.
Despite the growth of the sports media program at Ithaca College since 2017, the number of women currently enrolled in the major has stagnated.

Ithaca College students organize panel about sports coverage

Three senior Ithaca College sports media students organized and hosted a panel discussing how Esports, fantasy sports and gambling are causing the coverage of sports to change.
