During the 2023 regular season, the Ithaca College field hockey team boasted a perfect, 4–0, record in overtime play. The Bombers earned post-regulation victories over the University of Scranton, Skidmore College, SUNY New Paltz, and the University of Rochester.

The 1–0 victory over the University of Rochester improved the team’s post-regulation record to a perfect 4–0; the first time the team has ever gone undefeated during extra time in program history.

The Ithaca College field hockey team came out victorious over the Scranton University Royals in a defensive battle Sept. 27 at Higgins Stadium.
The Ithaca College field hockey team improved its record to 4–3 when they defeated the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles, 2–0, on Sept. 20.

Coming off a 2020 that halted all fall sports, the Ithaca College field hockey program has earned back-to-back trips to the Liberty League playoffs the past two seasons. However, there is one thing that is still missing: a Liberty League Championship.

After falling short in overtime against the Vassar College Brewers in the Liberty league championship by a score of 1–0, the Ithaca College women’s field hockey defeated the Brewers 1–0 on Oct. 1
Sophomore Natalie Descalso contributed two assists and two shots on goal, with one crossing the goal line during the team's 5–1 win over Hartwick College on Sept. 10.
