On the brisk autumn morning of Oct. 18, the Ithaca College Community laced up its sneakers near the natural lands by Terrace 13 in the largest crowd yet for the annual IC Runs Purple 5k Run + Walk, hosted by the Office of Public Safety.Â

SAFE IC, Ithaca College's new mobile safety app, includes features like alerts from the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management, contacts for emergency services and a campus map with resources.
The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management (OPS) sent an email to the Ithaca College campus community through Ithaca College Intercom Feb. 21 to announce a repeat trespass offender.
In an Oct. 12 email to the campus community, Cornish said a student reported a swastika etched into the metal inside the Baker Walkway elevator in the James J. Whalen Center for Music.

The Ithaca College campus community was notified via email Oct. 7 that a swastika was scratched onto the door of a Kosher Kitchen storage room in the Terrace Dining Hall.
Brian Petersen, director of the CAPS, said there is currently a group of administrators that is looking at different colleges across the country to see how they are handling crisis counseling.
