Throughout the month of April, the Asian American Alliance will be hosting a series of events as part of Focus Asia Month, which will focus on embracing Asian-American culture and identity.
“These kids are very underprivileged, a lot of them, and they come from a lot of poverty and really bad home situations,” she said. “It’s just really great to have an opportunity to be a good role model for them and give them a safe place to be for a week.”
Senior Writer Sabrina Knight sat down with Sean Eversley Bradwell, assistant professor in the Center for the Study of Culture, Race and Ethnicity, to speak about Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, today’s higher education climate and the recent unrest on college campuses across the country.
Staff Council will be launching a survey after its Dec. 15 meeting asking staff whether or not they would like to move forward with a no confidence vote, according to an email acquired by The Ithacan.
The Ithaca College Student Government Association held a forum to discuss what rights should be included in a student bill of rights, with the proposed rights centering around greater administration transparency, safety on campus and shared governance at the college.
