Park Scholar program receives $30 million endowment

Ithaca College received its largest endowment donation from the Park Foundation, so the Park Scholar program will be funded internally.

Dorothy Park, Park Foundation president, passes away at 103

She and her husband, Roy H. Park — after whom the Roy H. Park School of Communications was named in 1989 — founded the Park Foundation in 1966, which has funded many projects at the college, in the community and across the nation.

Ithaca College has selected Nicole Koschmann as the new permanent director for the Park Scholar program, who officially filled the post Jan. 21.
Ithaca Colleges Habitat for Humanity traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina to build the structure for a home sold to low-income individuals.
