Veteran producer Mark Burg '81 held a lecture April 3, speaking with students and faculty about the mechanics of the film industry. Burg sat down with Assistant Accent Editor Steven Pirani to talk further about the value of thinking outside of the box in film.
Kristiina Korpus ’13 speaks April 5 at Ithacon, a comic book convention in Ithaca that was hosted at Ithaca College this year. Korpus spoke about the history of women in comic books and their controversial depictions.

Dan Mills ’07 will return to Ithaca College to perform with Dan Mills and the Fairweather Band at 7 p.m. March 27 in IC Square. Mills is also an actor and was an understudy in Broadway’s “Million Dollar Quartet.”

Singer to return to alma mater with folk band

Dan Mills '07, actor and musician, will return to the college with his band, Dan Mills and the Fairweather Band, at 7 p.m. March 27 in IC Square.
Dan Heffner 78, a Hollywood film producer, gives a talk Feb. 28 in the Park Auditorium. Heffner is best known for producing the Saw horror movie series. He comes back to the college annually to meet with students and faculty.

Alumnus film producer returns for annual discussion

Eleanor Henderson, assistant professor of writing, signs first-edition copies of her book “Ten Thousand Saints” in June of 2011 at the Harvard Book Store’s Signed First Edition Club. Henderson’s book is currently being turned into a film.
