Gymnastics team places fifth at Regional Championships

Senior Megan Harrington placed first in the all-around and qualified for the National Collegiate Gymnastic Association Championships on March 18–19 in Brockport, New York while sophomore Kendra Balcerak qualified for on the balance beam.
Senior Megan Harrington competes on the uneven bars Feb. 28 at the Harriet Marranca Memorial Invitational. She placed 12th on the event with a score of 9.275.

Mix of old and new talent improves gymnastics squad this winter

The women's gymnastics squad has its eyes on a run to Nationals this upcoming season with both its veterans and newcomers.
Head coaches Mike Welch, football, and Rick Suddaby, gymnastics, stand side-by-side in front of the trophy case inside the Athletics and Events Center. They are both going to be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame during the 2015 ceremony on Sept. 25 along with six other alumni and two teams.
