While the number of men in the sports media major at Ithaca College has continued to grow, the number of women has stagnated.

Park offers students class on Olympic and Paralympic Games

As the world has been tuned in to the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics over the past month, Ithaca College students have had the opportunity to remotely cover the events through a new course.
Junior Connor Hibbard is the station manager for WICB and a TVR major. Hibbard has been taking part in the radio stations since he was a freshman. Hibbard said he is not in favor of the name change because it pushes radio to the background.

IC renames TVR degree to reflect changing job market

For decades, IC students have been graduating with a degree in Television-Radio, but starting in Fall 2022 the major name will be officially changed.

At the college fair, I slowly started falling in love with the idea of the Roy H. Park School of Communications and being a communications student.
The scholarship was established for incoming journalism, sports media or documentary studies students in the Roy H. Park School of Communications who demonstrate financial need and represent historically underrepresented communities.

Sophomore receives inaugural Iger-Bay Endowed Scholarship

Ithaca College sophomore Damani Madir is the inaugural recipient of the Iger-Bay Endowed Scholarship.
The college currently has a bus shelter near the Peggy Ryan Williams Center (PRW), but after receiving student feedback, decided to install another shelter outside of Park Hall.
