At its April 11 meeting, the Ithaca College Student Governance Council (SGC) passed its first bill of Spring 2022 in support of implementing at least one gender-neutral bathroom in every academic building on campus by the end of the 2022–23 academic year.

The SGC motioned and voted to pass a recommendation for the Gender-Neutral Bathrooms in All Academic Buildings bill.
Approximately 90 members of the college community attended the memorial, which was held both in person at the Muller Chapel and virtually via Zoom.

Religious and spiritual leader to leave college in November

Hierald Osorto, executive director for Student Equity and Belonging and Religious and Spiritual Life, will be departing Ithaca College in November.
In an Intercom post, the college announced that Curry’s hiring concluded a nationwide search that began in June 2021. Curry will assume the role Oct. 19.

College appoints new director of career services

Ithaca College has appointed Dave Curry as the new director of career services within the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life on Sept. 14. 
In past years, the two programs were run separately, but Shadayvia Wallace officially took position as the director of both programs Aug. 16
