Serving hope: BomberTHON’s Valentine’s Volleyball Tournament raises funds for children’s hospital

With their big dance marathon coming up in less than a month on March 3, the Ithaca College organization BomberTHON hosted a Valentine’s Day volleyball tournament to raise money for children getting treatment at the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse, New York.
BomberTHON is a student run organization that hosts dance marathons to benefit children’s hospitals local to the community each year. In the lead-up to the big dance marathon set to take place in April 2023, the organization hosted a dodgeball tournament to raise awareness for its cause, the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Students celebrate Halloween early with BomberTHON

For its first event this semester, BomberTHON hosted its first-ever Halloween Dodgeball Tournament on Oct. 24. 
Members of the Ithaca College community gathered at Towers Marketplace on April 10 for the third annual BomberTHON. Student-athletes from several teams around the college helped raise money through the dance marathon that benefited Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, a Miracle Network Hospital in Syracuse, New York.

Dance marathon to be held virtually this year

This year, BomberTHON is holding virtual events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 10, which includes six hours of activities and fundraising.

Alumni set out to tandem bike over 4,000 miles for charity

Two Ithaca College alumni will be biking nearly 4,000 miles across the country starting in June to raise money and awareness for those with life-threatening illnesses and disabilities. 
Sophomore tennis player Tyler Purdy and sophomore soccer player Aidan Kennan shaved their heads and live streamed it via Instagram to raise funds for the St. Baldricks Foundation.
