Women’s soccer slips past Herons for the Liberty League title

On a rainy, windy and muddy day, the Ithaca College women’s soccer team managed to slip by the William Smith College Herons on Nov. 10, winning 3-2 in a penalty shootout to claim the Liberty League Championship.

Field hockey’s early lead slips away in tough battle against Herons

In its second Liberty League matchup of the 2024 season, the No. 19 Ithaca College field hockey team fell 2-1 to the William Smith College Herons on Oct. 5. The loss drops the Bombers’ record to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Women’s Soccer takes down No. 11 Herons 1-0

The Ithaca College women’s soccer team scored another three points in the Liberty League in its win against the William Smith College Herons. The first goal was scored within ten minutes of the start, but the rest of the game remained scoreless.

The Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team played in the Liberty League Semifinals against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on May 3 and are moving to the finals after handily defeating the Engineers 14–7.

Despite a match full of high energy, the Ithaca College women’s tennis team came up short 3–6 against the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers in the Reis Tennis Center on March 24.

Women’s Lacrosse: Squad prevails in one-goal contest against William Smith

The women’s lacrosse team took down visiting William Smith College 12-11 on Tuesday in Higgins Stadium to win its fifth straight game. The Bombers improved to 5—0 at home and are now 2—1 in one-goal games this season.
