1. The Office of Career Services is now accepting applications for summer internship scholarships. Applications for the Class of 2008 Scholarship for Experiential Learning and the Washington, D.C. Scholarship can be submitted to Career Services until 5 p.m. Feb. 24. The Class of 2008 Scholarship is awarded to a freshman, sophomore or junior with an unpaid internship in the summer of 2014. The Washington, D.C. Scholarship is awarded to a freshman, sophomore or junior with a paid or unpaid internship in the Washington, D.C., area in the summer of 2014.
2. This semester, the Towers Club Lounge will begin serving lunch. The TC Lounge will now be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, in addition to its regular evening hours. The new lunch menu will include a selection of sandwiches, salads and snacks, along with all of the drinks and desserts already offered.
3. The Fitness Center’s group exercise classes will begin today. All classes, with the exception of Tai Chi and Iyengar Yoga, which are only open to faculty and staff, are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Sign-up sheets for each class will be available at the Fitness Center check-in desk 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
