1. Author Maggie Nelson will give a lecture at 6 p.m. today in the Handwerker Gallery. Nelson’s work includes both nonfiction and poetry. Nelson is the first of the writing department’s Spring 2014 Distinguished Visiting Writers.
2. IC Women in Communication will hold a rush night at 7 p.m. tonight in Park 223. The rush night is open to women at the college who want to pursue careers in communications.
3. HiFashion Studios will hold its recruitment night at 8 p.m. tonight in Textor 103. HiFashion is open to all students interested in the fashion industry.
