1. In celebration of disability awareness month, Ithaca College welcomed author Norb Nathanson, whose autobiography, “A Secretly Handicapped Man: A Memoir,” tells about secretly living with a prosthetic leg. Nathanson spoke yesterday evening in Clark Lounge. Check Latest Headlines later today for the full story.

2. The Cortaca Jug is quickly approaching. Tickets for the game will be distributed to students and faculty from 1–6 p.m. Oct. 27, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 28 and 3–8 p.m. Oct. 29. The limit is one ticket per Ithaca College ID and two IDs per person. Tickets will be distributed at the A&E Center ticket and concession area.

3. The Ithaca Police Department said the “armed and dangerous” man who is suspected of shooting another man on Oct. 14 is still at large, and leads into the case are fading. The suspect, who goes by the alias “Biggum,” is 6 feet tall, weighs 185 pounds and has tattoos on his left arm. Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to call the IPD at 607-272-3245.

1. In honor of Campus Sustainability Day, Sustainability at Ithaca and React to Film will host a screening of the film “Elemental” at 7 p.m. in Textor 101.

2. The senior class invites you to celebrate the end of midterms by coming out to Lot 10, 106 S. Cayuga St. at 10 p.m. The event is open to all seniors who are 21 and over.

3. There is a free screening of the LGBT film “GenSilent” at 7 p.m. at Cinemapolis. The film is sponsored by Out for Health; the Ithaca College Center for LGBT Education, Outreach and Services; the Cornell University LGBT Resource Center; and the Ithaca LGBT Task Force.
