On Oct. 3, the Town of Ithaca Planning Board approved Ithaca Colleges proposal to build a five story elevator that runs from the Terrace Dining Hall to the Terrace One residence hall and a covered entrance that connects the dining hall to the Baker Walkway. Currently, there are three flights of stairs that lead to the primary entrance of the Terrace Dining Hall.

After getting its proposal approved, Ithaca College is beginning to work on a timeline for a project that will add an elevator to the Terraces Dining Hall and a covered entrance to the dining hall that connects to the Baker Walkway to increase accessibility on the upper campus.
Senior Kevin Schoch, a member of the football team, suffered a non-contact injury during a game Sept. 11. He said he may have torn his ACL and will potentially be on crutches for the remainder of the fall semester. Some students have experienced issues regarding a lack of accessibility.
