For the first time since the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships on March 15 and 16, the Ithaca College men’s wrestling team took to the mat at its 40th annual season-opening Bomber Invitational on Nov. 1-2. Out of the 11 teams at the meet, the team saw itself in fourth place after day one with 46 points and concluded day two and the invitational in third place with 151.5 points.

The Ithaca College men’s wrestling team competed in the Ithaca Quad on Feb. 3, dominating in all three matches in a pinning frenzy. Throughout the three matches, the Bombers racked up 14 wins by fall.

When the Ithaca College wrestling team returned to campus this fall, the practice room was more crowded than normal. However, there is still familiarity in the room — on top of the new athletes, there are five new assistant coaches, four of whom were athletes on the team last season.
The Ithaca College wrestling team took second place in the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional, hosting the two-day tournament Feb. 24 and 25 in the Glazer Arena.Â
Before Ithaca College athletes settle into their holiday plans, they need to consider how they will stay in shape before their return to campus and keep the season from slipping away during a hiatus.
A raucous crowd gathered in the Glazer Arena on Nov. 4 and 5 to watch the first wrestling event hosted on campus that has allowed spectators since the 2019–20 season.
Ithaca College sat at 44th in Division III after Fall 2021 in the Learfield Directors' Cup, but vaulted to the 14th spot thanks to strong winter performances.
