The women's soccer team's historic season finally came to a close in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament after Misericordia University advanced 6-5 on penalty kicks.
Despite a slower start than it anticipated, the 20th-ranked women's lacrosse team had little trouble in defeating Nazareth College by a score of 14-4 in the Empire 8 Conference semifinal yesterday at Higgins Stadium.
