Location: Whalen Center For Music / 146 Conservatory Drive

Summary: Caller reported that a person had blurry vision and was unable to hear. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis responded.

 

FIRE ALARM ACCIDENTAL

Location: Hood Hall / 282 Lyceum Drive

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded and determined the activation was caused by burnt food.

Location: Z-Lot / east of 127 E. Grant Egbert Blvd. Summary: Caller reported an unknown person entered a vehicle and stole a phone charger in September 2023. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded. This is a pending investigation.

Location: Circle Apartments Building 120 / 120 College Circle

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded and determined the activation was caused by burnt food.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. A pot holder caught fire prior to the officer’s arrival. The fire was extinguished. Charlie Sherman, ​​fire and building safety coordinator, responded.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Fire Protection Specialist Enoch Perkins responded and determined the activation was caused by a hair dryer.

Summary: Caller reported a person was taken into custody under mental hygiene law and transported to the hospital by ambulance. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Fire Protection Specialist George Whitmore responded and determined that the activation was caused by burnt food.

Summary: Caller reported that an unknown person posted a flyer without authorization. Sergeant John Elmore responded. This is a pending investigation.

Summary: Caller reported third-hand information that a person had made a statement possibly relating to self-harm. The officer determined the person was not an imminent threat to themselves. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

Summary: Caller reported a person was having an allergic reaction. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Master Patrol Officer Robert Jones responded.

Summary: Caller reported a person passed out. The person declined medical assistance from the ambulance staff. Master Patrol Officer Robert Jones responded.

Summary: Sergeant Bryan Verzosa reported a piece of ambulance equipment damaged a vehicle’s tail light.

Summary: Caller reported an unknown person wrote graffiti. Patrol Officer Matthew Patire responded. This is a pending investigation.

Summary: Caller reported a person with back pain was vomiting. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Matthew Patire responded.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Patrol Officer Thaddeus May responded and determined that the activation was caused by steam from a shower.

Summary: Patrol Officer Matthew Patire reported that a person approached them to report that an unknown person yelled at them about parking. This is a pending investigation.

Location: Garden Apartment 26 / 136 E. Grant Egbert Blvd.

Summary: Caller reported a person having a seizure. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Connor McCoy responded.

 

SCC IRRESPONSIBLE USE OF ALCOHOL/DRUGS

Location: Terrace 3 / 98 Flora Brown Drive

Summary: Caller reported an intoxicated person. The person was taken into custody under the mental hygiene law, transported to the hospital by ambulance and referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. Patrol Officer Kevin Noterfonzo responded.

Location: Recreation Trails / 100 Block Flora Brown Drive

Summary: Caller reported people in an area that was closed. Patrol Officer Kevin Noterfonzo issued the people  a warning.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Patrol Officer Dana Malcolm responded and determined the activation was caused by steam from a shower.

Summary: Caller reported a person was upset that other parties would not contact them.  Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis determined the parties were in contact.
