DEI programs deserve space in higher-ed

The only result of the lack of mandating DEI has become the censorship of the nation’s higher education. Laws like S.B. 1 allow colleges and universities to cherry pick their narratives of the past and ongoing history. 
Shoppers should take advantage and support small businesses, not only on Black Friday, but throughout the entire year so they can continue to compete against large corporations amid the emerging digital shopping landscape, and contribute to Ithaca’s thriving community.

Every year, the football teams of Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland face off in the “biggest little game in the nation,” to once again get their school’s name etched onto the Cortaca Jug. While the two schools do compete regularly in other sports, none is quite as popular as the Cortaca Jug.
