The Ithaca College women’s track and field team is gearing up for another exciting season of competition this spring.

After a season in which the Ithaca College softball team fell short in the Liberty League tournament, the team is looking to bring the Bombers their first conference championship since 2019. 

After an undefeated regular season from the Ithaca College football team that was one for the history books, the Bombers are seeing some of their staff jump ranks in the college sports world.

At the Bomber Invitational on Feb. 4 and 5, graduate student Logan Bruce highlighted the second day of competition after setting a new school record in the pentathlon. 

The Ithaca College women’s basketball team defeated the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds 52–49 on Senior Day Feb. 4 in the Ben Light Gymnasium. 

Robert Cantelmo, current 5th Ward Alderperson, announced his campaign for the 2023 Ithaca mayoral race. As of Feb. 1, no other candidates for mayor have come forward.

On Dec. 3, 2022, the Ithaca College football team capped off a historic season, earning the program’s first undefeated regular season since 1986 as well as its first-ever Liberty League title.

Although they wrestle in classes 100 pounds apart from each other, the Galkas still say they enjoy being on the team together.

In order to fill off-campus housing vacancies some students have taken to Facebook to post ads in specific groups run by sources outside of Ithaca College.

Following a successful 2022 season for the Ithaca College football program, senior offensive lineman Jake Villanueva earned an Associated Press Second Team All-America selection.

“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” These words are not just a catchy slogan but a promise.

Ithaca College students organized a sleep out and raised $500 for Second Wind, a local nonprofit that helps homeless individuals through housing and services.
