1. A fire broke out in the Ithaca Jungle, located behind Wegmans, yesterday afternoon. One person was injured in a tent fire that spread into the woods. The Ithaca Fire Department, Ithaca Police Department and Bangs Ambulance were on the scene. The person suffered severe burns to the upper half of the body.
2. The Vocal Jazz ensemble will perform at 7 p.m. in Hockett Recital Hall under the direction of Catherine Gale, lecturer of performance studies.
3. A new ICTV show Loose Cannons, a police show, will premiere at 7 p.m. in Textor 103.
4. All female a capella group Premium Blend will perform its Block II concert at 8 p.m. in Emerson Suites.

News: As a fresh batch of Ithaca College December graduates prepares to leave the college this weekend, recent reports indicate an improving national job market. Economists say graduating early in December could give students an advantage in the job search because there will be less competition than there would be during the traditional graduation time in May.
Sports: Freshman Leonard Davis, a former Division I prospect, has found a new home in Ithaca. The 6’9” forward is a first-year starter on the men’s basketball team who has been shaped by his childhood experiences.
Accent: Senior Genevieve Cohn’s love of art began after taking a printmaking class during her freshman year, when she ended up declaring a major in art, as well as a major in Culture and Communications. Cohn also combined her love of art and travel and explored different forms of art during her two semesters abroad.
