1. Tonight is the opening reception of the Handwerker Gallery’s latest exhibitions, “Aerial Reconnaissance” and “Your Margins, Your Rivers, Your Diminutive Villages.” The reception will be held from 5–7 p.m. in the Handwerker Gallery. Read about the new exhibitions in this week’s Accent section.
2. The Ithaca College Office of Human Resources is now accepting RSVPs for the fifth annual Engaging Communities Luncheon. The Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 20 in Emerson Suites. However, RSVPs must be submitted before Feb. 4. The Luncheon will be led by Craig Clayton, director and diversity strategist for the University of Houston’s International Institute of Diversity and Cross Cultural Management.

News: A new, 9,000-square-foot Downtown Ithaca Incubator will provide a space for students at Ithaca College to collaborate with Cornell University and Tompkins Cortland Community College, while working on start-up businesses. Plans for the Incubator were announced at a press conference Jan. 16. Read about the Downtown Ithaca Incubator here.
Opinion: The Student Government Association has approved a bill recommending that the SGA research Ithaca College’s divestment from fossil fuels.
