The Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team rejoiced on Senior Day as it defeated the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds 19-11 April 26. The game marked the end of the regular season, with the Bombers holding a 10-6 overall and 7-3 in-conference record.

The Ithaca College baseball team saw an opportunity to sit atop the Liberty League and made good use of it, defeating the Hobart College Statesmen 7-4 on Senior Day April 25 at Freeman Field. The victory granted the Bombers the Liberty League West crown and home field advantage in the Liberty League Crossover Series. 
Susan Bassett '79 is retiring at the end of the 2024-25 academic school year. She reflects on her long career in intercollegiate athletics, which includes 15 years as a coach at two different institution and 30 years as an athletic director at three different institutions.

On Feb. 6. 2025, Susan Bassett ’79, associate vice president and director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation at Ithaca College, announced her plans to retire at the end of the 2024-25 academic year.
Junior Cate Murray transferred to Ithaca College from Division I Colgate University ahead of the 2024-2025 academic school year. So far, Murray is not only filling up the box score for the softball team, but she has also been able to work on her passion of media through the Sports Media major and IC Creative Media Team.

For many athletes, getting into a Division I program means they have made it. They gain access to cutting edge facilities, experienced coaches and a path to the pros. For junior softball player Cate Murray, D-I was not the right fit.
Junior midfielder led the Bombers with four goals in their 17-11 defeat against the Hamilton College Continentals. Cody was encouraged with her squad's fight in the second half and hopes they can carry that forward towards the next contest.

Ithaca College women’s lacrosse fell to the Hamilton College Continentals 17-11 April 22 in a highly contested match. The Continentals’ powerful offense, coupled with their suffocating defense, left the Bombers unable to overcome the deficit.
The Ithaca College softball team swept the St. Lawrence University Saints in its second consecutive doubleheader April 19. The Bombers put up 15 runs across the two games to secure the sweep.

The Ithaca College softball team tallied two Liberty League wins against the St. Lawrence University Saints on April 19. An early start time and multiple rain delays did not deter the team as it defeated the Saints 5-3 and 10-2.
Sophomore attacker/midfielder Lucas Proctor puts his arm around Kyle Proctor, his older brother and senior attacker. Lucas scored the game-winning goal with 11 seconds remaining via an assist from Kyle.

For the first time since 2021, the Ithaca College men’s lacrosse team will dance in the Liberty League Championship Tournament because the Bombers won an 11-10 thriller over the Clarkson University Golden Knights on April 19. 
The Ithaca College softball team split its doubleheader with the Clarkson University Golden Knights at Kostrinsky Field April 19. Senior pitcher Anna Cornell set the program's strikeout record on the afternoon.

The Ithaca College softball team witnessed history in the making in a doubleheader against its Liberty League Championship Tournament rival, the Clarkson University Golden Knights, on April 18. Senior pitcher Anna Cornell broke IC’s career strikeout record — the first player to do so in over 20 years. 
The spring sports season has provided strong performances by many first-year student athletes across Ithaca College athletics. Ivan Kisic of the men's tennis team has stepped up for the program thus far.
