FIRE ALARM ACCIDENTAL

Location: Terrace 5/ 102 Flora Brown Drive

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Activation was caused by steam from the shower. Patrol Officer Thaddeus May responded.

 

August 16

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE

Location: J-Lot / S of 143-151 Tower Skyline Drive

Summary: A caller reported a bus with an emergency message “911 help” sign displayed. Officer determined the bus was having technical difficulties with no emergency. Patrol Officer Mayra Colon responded to the call.

FIRE ALARM UNDETERMINED CAUSE FOR ALARM

Location: Hill P.E. Center / 134 Conservatory Drive

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Unknown cause for alarm. Patrol Officer Kevin McClain responded to the call.

 

FIRE ALARM ACCIDENTAL

Location: Whalen Center For Music / 146 Conservatory Drive

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. Activation was caused by a broken sprinkler head. Master Patrol Officer Bob Jones responded. This is a pending investigation.  

 

ACCIDENTAL PROPERTY DAMAGE

Location: Whalen Center For Music / 146 Conservatory Drive

Summary: Officer reported a person accidentally broke a sprinkler head and water caused damage. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded to the call.

 

August 18

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE/ ILLNESS RELATED

Location: Hilliard Hall / 280 Lyceum Drive

Summary: A caller reported having severe abdominal pain, fever and vomiting. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Connor McCoy responded. 

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE/ INJURY RELATED

Location: O-Lot / N Of 318 Grant Egbert Blvd. 

Summary: A caller reported a person tripped, fell and struck their head on the sidewalk. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Mayra Colon responded to the call.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE/ PSYCHOLOGICAL

Location: Hammond Health Center / 117 Campus Center Way

Summary: A caller reported a person feeling anxious and making alarming statements of self-harm. The person was escorted to counseling and psychological services. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded to the call.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by burnt food. Patrol Officer Mayra Colon responded to the call.

Location: J-Lot / S Of 143-151 Tower Skyline Drive

Summary: A caller reported a person dancing scraped their knee. First aid was provided and the person declined further medical assistance.  Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded to the call.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by burnt food.  Patrol Officer Connor McCoy responded.

Location: TOWER DINING HALL / 147 TOWER SKYLINE DRIVE

Summary: A caller reported one person touched another without consent during the Spring 2023 semester. Patrol Officer Brian Versoza responded. This is a pending investigation.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by burnt food. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded to the call.

Summary: A caller reported a two-car property damage motor vehicle accident. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded to the call.

Summary: A caller reported one person touched another without consent during the Fall 2022 semester. Patrol Officer Brian Versoza responded.
