Updated academic concerns system is now open for faculty

The academic concerns system is now open to faculty to submit their concerns regarding students. The system has been updated with new features, like faster updates on students already in the system and the ability to differentiate between mild and more serious concerns. Milder concerns include missing classes or work, being disengaged or having low grades. For mild concerns, a message is sent to students that they are not required to respond to. For more serious concerns, students are required to connect with their school’s dean’s office. If students do not respond to communication from their dean’s office, they are referred to the Center for Student Success.
