Robert Cantelmo, current 5th Ward Alderperson, announced his campaign for the 2023 Ithaca mayoral race. As of Feb. 1, no other candidates for mayor have come forward.

Fraternities at Cornell University have made it into headlines in many major publications for reports of drink-spiking and a sexual assault at fraternity parties.

In reaction to four reports of drug-laced drinks and one report of sexual assault at Cornell University fraternity parties, Cornell has suspended all fraternity parties and social events. 

The Ithaca College Academic Calendar Committee and the Office of the Provost announced changes to the Fall 2023 calendar Oct. 31 in an Intercom post.
